Mark Antonacci is an attorney who spent nearly 20 years researching and writing the most substantive and comprehensive book ever on the Shroud of Turin. This book provides the first scientific explanation of how the body and blood images in the Shroud were formed. Mr. Antonacci has gathered evidence from every relevant source, scientist, or expert in the world, many of whom he has known quite well for a number of years. He is the founder and President of the Resurrection of the Shroud Foundation, a non-profit corporation that has funded and facilitated a number of new and valuable scientific projects in connection with the Shroud. He has appeared or been featured on numerous national and local media. He received a bachelor of arts degree with a major in political science and a minor in history from Western Illinois University. He also taught evidence and criminal procedure after graduating with honors from John Marshall Law School in 1977.

Arthur C. Lind, Ph.D., RSF Chief Scientist
Dr. Lind has been actively engaged in research and technology transfer for over forty-six years. His research has covered a wide range of disciplines, including nuclear physics, plasma physics, soild-state physics, propagation and scattering of electromagnetic waves, polymetric materials, manufacturing and nondestructive evaluation. Since retiring from Boeing in 1998, Dr. Lind formed Lind Scientific where he continues to develop innovative manufacturing and test equipment. At retirement, he also began his collaboration with Mark Antonacci where he is using his extensive knowledge to devise new experiments and tests that will lead to a better understanding of the Shroud of Turin. The preliminary experiments that he has planned are now nearing the execution phase. The experiments do not use shroud material, but are designed to develop procedures that could be used on shroud materials and to test some of the hypotheses presented in Mark's book, The Resurrection of the Shroud. He has a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois, 1955. He has a Ph.D. in Physics from Renssilear Poly Technic Institute, 1966.
